We get quite a bit of mail here at HotelChatter HQ. Sometimes, we think it's more than what Santa gets. (Not helping is that we also get tons of spam. Sigh.) But aside from emails tipping us off to new hotels, insane hotel packages, hotel ownership/management disputes, faulty deal codes and the like, we also get emails that are definitely spam but that tread a fine line between a spam scam and a real hotel question. Nah, on second thought, it's totally spam. Here are two examples we thought you would enjoy.
I want to make inquiry for 10 guests coming to your city in the month of January 2014. The will dine in your restaurant for 10 day between 18.00pm to 20.00pm daily.
Payment shall be done via credit cards and a deposit of $2,000 will be made to you should you have availability during this period.I hope you can make charge on credit card via mail order?
The guest will make a choice from the menu list during their first night and then they can inform you should their be something else they want.
