Dennis Rodman May Have Fouled Out at the Thompson LES As Well

It turns out the Time Hotel wasn't Dennis Rodman's first choice of hotels in New York City.

A tipster emailed us to say that Rodman was also asked to leave Thompson LES Hotel on Sunday morning after being on the property for less than 24 hours. A guest of the hotel during that time had this to say about their up close encounter with the former NBA bad boy (who, btw, has a new children's book out):

We came down to the bar after putting our luggage away, and arrived at the bar on the second floor. We were greeted by the obnoxious Dennis Rodman who was inappropriately speaking to my wife and making us feel so uncomfortable that we left. We went out to dinner and arrived back to the hotel and tried to have drinks again.

Once again Mr. Rodman was being inappropriate trying to sit on my lap and screaming and clapping while gesturing to my wife. Mr. Rodman was with a group of people who did nothing but stand there and make sure we did not say anything to him. He was rude VULGAR and extremely inappropriate telling my wife unacceptable things that we proceeded to leave the second floor bar and go to bed..."

Dennis Rodman Got Kicked Out Of His Favorite New York Hotel

Anyone remember hearing reports last month about NBA star-turned-nightmare-hotel-guest Dennis Rodman visiting North Korea? Well, he's back. And, once again, he's causing trouble in hotels.

The NY Post reports that Rodman was hanging out at The Time Hotel in Manhattan, waving around a signed copy of Kim Jong Un's manifesto, "telling anyone who would listen what a great guy the North Korean dictator is."

Classic. (Rodman also went on a similar rant during a recent appearance on ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos.)

Apparently the situation got so bad that Rodman was forced to leave the hotel, seeking refuge at a downtown Marriott. Which must have sucked because, according to Rodman's rep, The Time "is Dennis' favorite hotel." The relocation was attributed to security reasons and the fact that he needed to be "closer to the airport." Though hopefully, he won't be taking any more flights to North Korea for a while…

Yes, it's happened again. Dennis Rodman should just avoid all hotels from now on because there is something about a hotel that makes him go nuts and get kicked out.

The latest victim is the Surf and Sand Hotel in Laguna Beach, Calif. Fresh off hosting a pool party at the Hotel Indigo East End, Rodman was staying at the Surf and Sand and filming a UK reality show when he got "drunk and disorderly" at the hotel bar.

But would you choose Dennis Rodman aka the Worst Celebrity Hotel Guest Ever as your main attraction? If you were the brand new Hotel Indigo East End that's exactly what you'd do! And then Rodman would take a leak behind your cabanas.

Yes, in news that bewilders us no end, the folks behind the new Hotel Indigo in Riverhead asked Rodman to host the Sunday Night Pool Party that anchored its epic Destination 72 event this weekend.

Snooki Takes it to The Pole at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel

January 11, 2010 at 8:44 AM | by | Comments (0)

While some clubs in NYC and even Hoboken have denied the cast of 'Jersey Shore' for paid club appearances, it seems that in Hollywood, Fla., there is no shame in hiring Snooki to do some pole-dancing for a night.

Snickers, aka Snooki, aka Nicole Polizzi was partying at the Seminole Hard Rock and Casino on Saturday night where the Opium Nightclub held its first-ever Saturdays Love the 'Jersey Shore'" night complete with a fist pumping competition.

According to Snook's Twitter feed, she was chillin at the hotel in a room before heading out to the nightclub. But unfortch, she Twittered that "i forgot my clips! no poof tonight!" Still she managed to have fun getting on the pole for the evening.

And to think, it only took her getting punched in the face for everyone to realize that yo, she's a cool girl.

Dennis Rodman Strikes Again, This Time in Germany

Dennis Rodman, the worst hotel guests in the world, was up to his bad boy behavior again--this time at the Park Plaza Hotel in Trier, Germany.

Apparently, Rodman threw an impromptu party at the hotel and charged up to $5,000 for drinks. Since he had played in a "USA Legends of Basketball" exhibition game earlier that night, and the game organizers were picking up his hotel room, he just assumed they would pick up the party costs too. Oh no, no, no.

Associated Press reports:

When Rodman left the hotel Monday morning without paying the tab, the hotel director contacted the police, [prosecutor Juergen] Bauer said. Police found Rodman's stretch limo on the highway and detained the star. Rodman then paid the outstanding bill along with an additional 1,700 Euros to dismiss possible legal proceedings, the prosecutor said.

Well, at least he didn't pull Randy and Evie Quaid. And as far as we know, no female hotel workers were sexually harassed. So...keep up the good work?

Dennis Rodman Continues To Be The Worst Hotel Guest in Miami

What is it about hotels that makes Dennis Rodman act like a serious perv? The bad ex-baller has now been accused of groping a woman at the LIV nightclub at Miami's Fontainebleau Hotel. In the past year alone, he has also been accused of inappropriately groping gals at the Gansevoort South, The London West Hollywood, The Hard Rock Las Vegas and another Los Angeles-area hotel.

This time at LIV, the alleged victim said that Rodman approached her, whispered in her ear and then touched her inappropriately. The woman notified security officers who then called the police. While a friend of Rodman says the club's surveillance video will exonerate the friend, the police are still investigating. Rodman could face charges of simple battery but we're hoping there's a way that the law could enforce a permanent hotel blacklist as well.

An Open Letter to Dennis Rodman Regarding Miami Hotels

May 12, 2009 at 9:11 AM | by | Comments (0)

Dear Dennis Rodman,

Here is a photo of Regis and Kelly at the once-super-sexy, now-attempting-to-be-fam-friendly Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach. After its billion-dollar renovation, the megaresort ditched the dated look and emerged looking super sexy — and at first, it was model-friendly (the hotties flocked to the hotel for the official grand opening, which is sort of your jam, we understand), but as the hotel attempts to reposition itself as more family-friendly, well, these are the hotties you're gonna be ogling now. We think that might be good for you.

Yesterday, we learned that you — and we know you have had some major issues with drinking and touchin' all up on people in hotels lately — had hit up the Gansevoort South and had maybe not gotten the memo that you're not a JT-status celeb and you and the entourage had walked out on a $1K resto bill.

And, um, we're not sure how this is possible, but Page Six is reporting that you and your entourage tried to do it again the next night.

Rodman being escorted out of London WeHo after getting too handsy.

Okay, Dennis Rodman. Enough, dude.

Could it be that maybe you just need to stay away from hotels in general? Because you have struck again — and you're on your way to earning yourself a hot spot on the banned list of every hotel, um, ever.

Consider your recent rap sheet: there was that most unfortunate appearance on 'Celebrity Apprentice' in which you attempted to help the other contestants run a hotel but instead proceeded to get drunkers and got fired. And then you got escorted out of London WeHo after getting too handsy, which came after the time you got way too handsy with a hotel employee in Vegas — over which you recently got sued. We figured you'd maybe toned down the ol' shenanigans after that one.

Dennis Rodman Sued by Hard Rock Las Vegas Employee

April 28, 2009 at 9:36 AM | by | Comments (0)

Rodman being escorted out of London WeHo after getting too handsy. Again.

Guh. Dennis Rodman. Get it together, dude.

After a couple of unfortunate incidents in hotels lately — one of those incidents being his most unfortunate appearance on 'Celebrity Apprentice' in which he attempted to help the other contestants run a hotel but instead got drunkers and got fired — Dennis Rodman is suffering the consequences for actin' a fool in a hotel.

Apparently, a former beverage manager at the Hard Rock Las Vegas filed a lawsuit against the ex-basketball star that accused Rodman of "[creating] a scene that included him grabbing her, forcing her to dance with him and slapping her bottom" while she was working in early 2006. According to the Las Vegas Sun, she had reported the incident to the management and "was told Rodman would not be allowed back at the establishment" — but then he was somehow there again and pulled the same shenanigans, about which she complained to the management again. And then she was fired.

Dennis Rodman Gets a Bit Too Handsy at London WeHo

We're starting to feel sorry for Dennis Rodman. Like, he was funny-ha-ha in the 90's, with his crazy hair-color antics, his own MTV show and that drunken wedding where he married Carmen Electra. He also, if we remember, was a damn fine basketball player. Then he flew under our radar for the greater portion of the post-2000 years — until recently, when we saw him on that awesome Loews Regency episode of the 'Celebrity Apprentice.' Where he was not so funny-ha-ha. In fact, he was drunkers and sort of seemed to have a problem.

And now we hear that he's up to more not-so-funny antics over in Hollywood. Apparently, Dennis the Menace was at the London West Hollywood and got booted for grabbing women's booties and such. From TMZ:

Sources tell TMZ Rodman was asked to leave the London Hotel in West Hollywood on Friday after several guests complained about his behavior. We're told Rodman was slapping and groping female guests, as well as yelling obscenities. And get this — our spies tell us he even scared the children.

A hotel staffer told us, "He is the most obscene and out of control guest I've ever seen up here."

Must have been pretty bad, since we know that another celeb who is rather famous for yelling obscenities is up in the London WeHo a whole lot without any issues (hello, Gordon Ramsay, obviously).

We hope D-Rod gets it together soon.

Oh dear. We certainly hope you spent your Sunday evening watching the contestants of this season's Celebrity Apprentice as they attempted to run a few rooms at the Loews Regency Hotel. Because, um, you know how we said reality shows about hotels don't work? We take it back: hotel TV shows most definitely work when you throw Joan Rivers and Dennis Rodman into the mix.

If you didn't catch the episode, no worries: we've got a rundown of what, um, went down when Loews' head honcho Jonathan Tisch challenged the remaining 12 contestants (separated into male and female teams) to step in to take over the management of several rooms (per team) at his NYC hotel.
