Marriott Will Kick Off Its Free Night Promotion on Monday

Anything for "free" will always get our attention so when we heard that Marriott Hotels would be kicking off its Free Night Stay promotion on Monday, we had to see what this was all about. And guess what? That free night stay can be yours but you will have to work at it a little.

When staying at a Marriott hotel in a city, you get the third night free when you book a minimum of three consecutive weekend nights (Thursday-Sunday.) But don't book that trip to New York or Toronto just yet. The offer is not good at continental U.S. or Canadian properties. However, it does apply to international cities like Berlin, Moscow and Paris (which has the pink-tastic Renaissance Arc de Triomphe.) In London, the free night is available mid-week only with three consecutive nights stay.

Suite Gear: The Dolphin Bay

A new hotel just opened in February near San Luis Obispo, Calif. called The Dolphin Bay Hotel. The place has seven different suite layouts to choose from, ranging between 900 to 2018 square feet. Each has:

professional-grade appliances, natural stone floors, granite and marble in the kitchen and bathrooms, as well as a plasma screen television.

Since the hotel is also a condo-tel, the suites were designed to be purchased as apartments. Which is why the kitchen features a Wolf stove, dishes and silverware, a dishwasher, dining table and a granite bar. For recreation, the suites have a DVD system with surround sound and large balconies to sit out on and look at the view of Pismo Beach coastline. Also the bedrooms have huge walk-in closets, and Jacuzzi tubs.

As part of the Spring Season opening, the rooms at Dolphin Bay are going for $285 during the week and $325 over the weekend.

Perhaps stealing a page from The Commodore's playbook in San Francisco, the Hotel Solamar is offering its guests the chance to get kinky during their stay.

The Wild Romance Package includes King Spa room with extra deep tub (it's more like a jacuzzi), a DVD Handycam camcorder (because sex tapes are all the rage--just don't put on the internet), a pitcher of saktinis and some toys like chocolate cigarettes, sensual lotions and potions.

For the Paris Hilton/R. Kelly voyeur in you, the package will cost you $649 a night plus taxes and a two minimum stay.

A cheaper alternative? Buy the Booty Parlor kit and check into a regular room.
