The Czech Star System Still Not Perfect

Just as France can't be judged solely by Paris, nor can Czech Republic for Prague. It's only fair to check out some other of the country's offerings.
Travel blogger Sophia Kulich recently stayed not in Prague but in Cesky Krymlov and found a 5 star hotel. Now, we know what we always say: be wary of the star system in the Czech Republic. But as Kulich is a travel agent, we will give a little bit of trust to her rap of the Hotel Ruze:
This is the best hotel in Cezky Krymlov but besides being luxury 5* hotel, it has character. It compares with paradors in Spain and Posadas in Portugal. It used to be a Jesuit monastery in 16C and it is more like a museum.
People just come in to sightsee it. It is not for everybody since it is not modern, and room was typical room in tower with a small window as in turret and what a view - a river and a castle! The hotel is meticulously restored and is an experience in itself.
Sounds nice but sorry, we still will never truly trust the Czech star system and we're not alone. The most recent TripAdvisor review headlines as "far from a 5 star!"
We're not saying this hotel isn't nice but until they just replace their old duvets for Egyptian cotton and add WiFi, we can't give them the five-star rating.
