Christina Aguilera Continues Post-Divorce Hotel Hopping at the SLS

What a girl wants is apparently a good hotel. Christina Aguilera, last seen in Hawaii at the Waikiki Edition, has been coping with the recent divorce in the best way that celebs can--by hotel hopping.

Paps spotted her outside the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles with her son, Max, a couple of assistants and some luggage. She's reportedly been shacking up at the hotel while her husband sticks around their house.

Even though we think Christina would do fine in one of the hotel's superior rooms (their starting room category) with its "floating" beds and dark and sexy decor, we're guessing she probably shacked up in one of the SLS Suites--a 1,500-sq.ft room designed by Philippe Starck with a dining table for six, a separate sitting area with white tufted leather couches, two 42" inch flat screen TVs and a 17" iMac computer.

Regular rooms at SLS start around $300 a night but these suites can fetch as much as $700 a night.

Here's a big sign that the new Waikiki Edition Hotel which officially opened on Friday is going to be different from its sister Marriott Hotel brands--celebrities! And sexy lady ones too.

On hand for the opening weekend were newly single Christina Aguilera, The City's Whitney Port, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, 90210 and Vanessa Hudgens who was snapped doing all sorts of things at the hotel from lounging on daybeds by the pool to strolling around the hotel and even, placing a food order. Whitney Port also made very good use of the hotel's pool daybeds with her boyfriend and a couple of friends. Later, Whit and her man took a stroll near along the beach.

If all these pics of young PYTs in bikinis has you a little concerned about your own physique, the hotel actually offers a Surf and Bikini Boot Camp where specialized trainers "provide fitness programs and surfing exercises to get you to your best bikini or surfer body."

Trump Dubai Courting Angelenos with Christina Aguilera

August 7, 2008 at 2:00 PM | by | Comments (0)

To hype up his latest project, the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Dubai, Donald Trump is having a little shindig at a private estate. In Los Angeles. Yup. Bet you're glad you didn't have to live another second of your life without that vital info.

And booked for the entertainment? According to E!, none other than Ms. Christina Aguilera. E also reports Pete Wentz is spinning tunes, but that's not confirmed.

This is just Christina's second performance since giving birth to her son. What a way to burst back onto the scene, Xtina...Hopefully, she'll leave the baby at home. Not sure the Donald really would know what to do with a baby.

In case you've forgotten what Trump Dubai is all about, here are some details. The Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai will be built in partnership with the mega-development company, Nakheel, on the fake island Palm Jumeirah. It will have five-stars (only five?) 63 floors, 378 hotel rooms, 300 residences and a penthouse apartment that is for sale at a shocking $30 million dollars.

But that's like chump change to some Angelenos, like Candy Spelling.
