It turns out the Time Hotel wasn't Dennis Rodman's first choice of hotels in New York City.

A tipster emailed us to say that Rodman was also asked to leave Thompson LES Hotel on Sunday morning after being on the property for less than 24 hours. A guest of the hotel during that time had this to say about their up close encounter with the former NBA bad boy (who, btw, has a new children's book out):

We came down to the bar after putting our luggage away, and arrived at the bar on the second floor. We were greeted by the obnoxious Dennis Rodman who was inappropriately speaking to my wife and making us feel so uncomfortable that we left. We went out to dinner and arrived back to the hotel and tried to have drinks again.

Once again Mr. Rodman was being inappropriate trying to sit on my lap and screaming and clapping while gesturing to my wife. Mr. Rodman was with a group of people who did nothing but stand there and make sure we did not say anything to him. He was rude VULGAR and extremely inappropriate telling my wife unacceptable things that we proceeded to leave the second floor bar and go to bed..."

Diddy Plus Naked Model Plus Open Flame Equals Hotel Fire Incident

Warning: some NSFW language

So you've probably already heard all about how, during Diddy's "Last Train to Paris" album listening party and livecast last night, a naked model caught her hair on fire, LIVE. But have you heard where it all went down? Apparently Diddy invited 20 of his friends (and sexy ladyfriends) up to the Penthouse Suite of the The London NYC, but some 200 people showed and this hair-on-fire accident happened and now Diddy is no longer welcome at the hotel.

Among the guests were Usher, Chris Brown, Miss USA Rima Fakih and Swizz Beatz. It was Fabolus and Trey Songz, however, who witnessed the flaming hair as they were hosting live from the suite's bathroom, where the model was sitting pretty in the tub but just a little too close to some candles. Luckily she thought fast and dunked her hair out in the bathtub water, but somehow the Fire Department got called and Diddy got a talking to.

Bad Diddy. Don't you know that NYC hotels and open flames (especially in the vicinity of weaves) don't play nicely together?

Celebs Ensure Standard NYC Doesn't Steal Spotlight From Standard WeHo

When it comes to hotels, we like to go by the old Gossip Girl adage: "you're nobody until you're talked about..." — or, more accurately, you're nobody until a celeb does something stupid within your four walls.

Accordingly, we're pleased to announce that the Standard West Hollywood — who may have been feeling a little bit left out since all the hype surrounding the just-opened Standard NYC — has not fallen off our radar thanks to Faizon Love (a.k.a. the glorious Big Worm in Friday — don't pretend you haven't seen it). Apparently, Love was being a menace to West Hollywood while drinking his juice in the 'hood and he got into a bit of a scuffle at Balazs's LA hotspot — and then he bounced. Per TMZ:

Law enforcement sources say comedian/actor Faizon Love is the suspect in a battery last night in West Hollywood. The incident went down at 1:00 AM this morning at the Standard Hotel. Love -- who played Big Worm in "Friday" -- allegedly struck a man in the head with his fist. By the time cops arrived, Love was nowhere to be found.

Well, now we wait for the Standard NYC to experience its first celebrity incident so it can truly call itself a hotspot. Britney? Where you at?
