Bad Celebrity Behavior / Sean Penn / St Regis Hotels / San Francisco Hotels / Celebrity Scoop / → All Tags
Apparently, a fan tried to snap a pic of the actor while he was hanging out in the hotel's swank Lobby Bar. Penn noticed the flash and went ballistic, lunging at the man fan and screaming "Do we look like f**king zoo animals?" (Umm....) Penn also threatened to make the fan "eat the phone" before telling him to "get the F out of here." You can watch the video of the temper tantrum here on TMZ. Incidentally, his outburst was caught on video...by another person in the bar. LOL.
Penn even went up to the hotel manager and told him that he "should do something about that." But hotel management actually asked the fan, who was attending the same conference as Penn, if he wanted to call police. Fortunately for Penn, he said no. After the whole kerfuffle ended, Penn went back to drinking at the bar.
Yeesh. Granted the fan should have asked Penn's permission, or at least not used flash, but we're kinda thinking Sean Penn should be grateful someone still wants to take his picture. No need to make someone "eat the phone." Which is going to be our new saying BTW.
This past year, Justin Bieber has gone about making a fool of himself on his world tour yet his fans are still as rabid as ever stalking, storming and stampeding the hotels he's been staying at. Finally, a hotel in Buenos Aires had enough.
The Hotel Faena, asked Bieber and his crew to leave the hotel after they were seized by crazy fans who started tearing down hotel property, apparently thinking this would get them access to the teen star. It did not. But he dis prompt this tweet from him:
to all my fans at the hotel. thank u. i love u. but please calm down and respect the police. we dont want anyone gettting hurt.— Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) November 9, 2013
Meanwhile, this photo above was snapped by Bieber's official DJ (Ed. Note: This is a thing now?) and it shows just how ridiculous these fans were being.

It was all showbiz the other week at the grand opening party for The Lexington Hotel New York, a recently transformed historic midtown Manhattan property that was a happening spot back in the 1920s. It's now become part of Marriott's Auograph Collection.
Musicians and actors like Patti Labelle and Dorothy Lamour called The Lexington home while they toured, and it was the famous love nest of Joe Dimaggio and Marilyn Monroe, who spent nine-months living in an 18th floor suite that's been renamed "The Centerfield Suite".
But sticking with its jazz roots, the festivities were kicked off with a live performance from the cast of the upcoming Broadway jazz show "After Midnight", which was produced by nine-time Grammy Award winner, Wynton Marsalis. The show has only been previewed by President Barack Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama, once during a U.N. GA Summit reception at the Waldorf Astoria, so guests were lucky to have this special treat.
Recently, we've had hotel share their secrets for keeping royal families happy as well as their 10 commandments for keeping luxury hotel guests happy. Today, we've got a new set of tips from a hotel--The Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans. But their list deals with a different kind of VIP--the film industry. And yes, that includes celebrities.
The Windsor Court has hosted pretty much every major film and music star from Brad and Angie to Beyonce (who stayed there for her Super Bowl performance last year) to Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen, annual attendees of the Jazz Fest. And they typically stay in the hotel's best suite--The Presidential Suite on the 22nd floor.
With 2,700-sq.ft. of space, the suite has two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a full kitchen and dining room, two living rooms, a butler's pantry, a full entertainment center, original artwork, two private landscaped terraces and a baby grand piano that's been tinkered on by Billy Joel. Penthouse guests get to enjoy the perks of the hotel's Club Lounge which has dedicated concierge service and daily food offerings. Rates typically start at $4,500 a night which, let's be real, is chump change for these A-List folks .
But putting up celebs in the best digs is only part of the job. The rest is coordinating with the production companies, the assistants and the entourages.
Here, The Windsor Court Hotel's general manager, David Teich, dishes out his 10 Commandments for Hosting Film Stars:
1. First commandment to hosting celebrities, film industry and VIPs is that privacy is key. Treat all guests with respect – absolutely no photos, autographs, social media, etc.
2. Prior to arrival, it is important to have one key point of contact, i.e. a guest relations manager or customer experience manager, to ensure that all details/pre-needs are known.
3. Keep communication open with local production teams so the hotel knows of schedule changes as well as comings and goings of the guest.

Lebron James added another ring to his collection when he became a married man this past Saturday.
The Miami Heat forward wed his high school sweetheart of 12 years, Savannah Brinson at the deluxe Grand Del Mar Hotel, just 25 minutes north of downtown San Diego.
Though we wondered why Lebron chose San Diego for his nuptials instead of Miami or his Akron, Ohio hometown, it's easy to see why the Grand Del Mar was selected to host the star-studded affair, which included guests Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and his girlfriend, Gabrielle Union.
Calling itself “San Diego’s premier wedding venue”, the Grand Del Mar looks like a sprawling Mediterranean estate and its picturesque setting in the Los Peñasquitos Canyon makes for a serene scene.
But we're hearing that another couple arrived at the wedding and took the event to a whole 'nother level!
Read about it after the jump!
Celebrity Scoop / Celebrity Weddings / Montana Hotels / Dude Ranches / Celebrity Wedding Hotels / Kate Bosworth / → All Tags
So many celebrity marriages this year! Jimmy Kimmel, Curtis Stone , NeNe Leakes, and now we discover "Superman Returns" and "Blue Crush" actress and all-around babe, Kate Bosworth recently tied the knot at The Ranch at Rock Creek, an all-inclusive "luxury dude ranch and glamping resort" in Philipsburg, Montana.
She and groom, director Michael Polish held their outdoor, afternoon ceremony on August 31st on the dude ranches 6,600 scenic acres of private land with 50 of their closest friends as guests. According to Martha Stewart Weddings, the couple exchanged self-written vows on a bluff set against hills, mountains and wildflowers.
After we dished on what Donald Trump had to say about his upcoming Trump International Hotel in Washington DC, we started thinking about all the other things The Donald has said about his hotels (which btw, are largely run by his daughter, Ivanka and his sons Donald Jr. and Eric.) And as you can imagine, there are a lot of choice quotes. Surprisingly, they aren't all about being "the biggest" or "the bestest.
So here are 10 Ballsy Things Donald Trump Has Said About His Hotels (and randomly, Christina Aguilera):
1. The Donald to his eight-months pregnant daughter Ivanka on Tuesday about working on the new Trump Washington DC hotel:
"You better do a good job or you're fired!"
2. At the same event, The Donald said the new hotel would be:
"one of the finest hotels anywhere in the world."
3. The Donald in a press release last week about The BLT Prime restaurant coming to the Trump Miami and the overall renovation of the resort:
"It’s going to be better than ever.”
"It’s going to be better than ever.”
We had high hopes when rapper DMX appeared on "Fix My Life" a show from Oprah Winfrey's OWN network. After all, if anyone could get 42-year old Ruff Ryder Earl Simmons to calm the hell down from a self-professed life of promiscuity and substance abuse, than super-healer Iyanla Vanzant could do it. Well, DMX was having none of it, ended up cussing Vanzant out. Intervention? #fail.
So, we're not surprised to see this video from TMZ showing Dark Man X stripping off his boxer shorts, then running around in the nude (and court-ordered house-arrest ankle bracelet) around a Detroit hotel hallway.
But, the question is, did DMX get charged with indecent exposure from the video below?
"Everything ends badly, otherwise it wouldn't end," so said Brian Flanagan in the greatest movie of all time. And for Jennifer Aniston, if this recent gossip report is to be believed, her love affair with the Sunset Tower Hotel has come to a horrific conclusion.
The Daily Mail reports that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie not only spent a night at Jen's fave Hollywood hotel, but they slept in the same room as hers! Well, the same room that she always stays in. Not like, the same room at the same time.
The star couple slipped unnoticed into the glamorous Sunset Tower hotel in Hollywood on Tuesday night and checked into suite 1502 - the same room where Brad's ex-wife Jennifer likes to stay.
Even more scandalous is that Angelina specifically requested this room because she knew that Jen stays in it all the time.
On August 27, Angelina made a reservation for suite 1502, shelling out $2500 for the penthouse room with a large patio that wraps around much of the building. Later in the afternoon, the couple arrived and were escorted to the service entrance and whisked up to the penthouse - not leaving their room until 11am on Wednesday morning. They even shared an intimate dinner from room service on the penthouse balcony, with Los Angeles sprawled out below them.
You know Tiger Woods is getting up there in age when he's blaming bad play Wednesday at the back nine in The Barclays tournament at New Jersey' Liberty National Golf Course on account of a stiff neck and back.
How did he get these "injuries"? No, ex-wife Elin Nordegren didn't come at him with a nine iron again. Instead, Woods blames his problems on his "too soft" hotel bed .
"My neck and back are a little bit stiff. It was stiff this morning after a soft bed and just one of those things, sleeping in hotels." he said. "I didn't want to push it, so just took it easy and chipped and putted."
Hmm. If this isn't a Goldilocks moment, we don't know what is. Woods, who is looked to be a surefire winner in this pro-am tournament was asked if he was getting a new bed in time for the FedEx Cup Playoffs on Thursday. He answered with a smile, "What do you think? We'll have something." But will it be enough? The man has apparently been plagued by elbow and back injuries the whole summer.
Now we're not sure what hotel Woods is staying at, as there isn't a boatload of high-end hotels in Jersey City. Perhaps it's time to start traveling with a Tempurpedic, Tiger? After all, there's $10 million at stake here.
In the meantime, what do you think? Is Tiger being a big pussycat by blaming the hotel bed? Have you ever been unable to work thanks to a "too soft" sleeping situation? We'd like to know!

Celebrity Scoop / Mexico Hotels / Cabo San Lucas Hotels / Jennifer Aniston / Jason Bateman / → All Tags
From the photo above, it's clear that Jennifer Aniston is totally into fiancé Justin Theroux. She and her beaux returned for a second jaunt to her favorite exclusive resort, the El Dorado Golf & Beach Club in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. The couple was just there in December.
Only strange thing? This couple can't seem to travel by themselves! They're always bringing people with them. Last year it was John Krazinksi, Emily Blunt, and Jimmy Kimmel. This year Jason Bateman and wife Amanda Anka came along.
What's the matter, Jennifer, aren't you able to spend some QT solo with your betrothed, the man who's been waiting and waiting for you to make an honest man of him? Maybe trade that SmartWater you're always toting around (always the consummate spokesperson!) for something a bit stronger and get the liquid courage to be alone with Justin at that beautiful resort.

Renaissance Hotels wants you to ignore the “Do Not Disturb” sign and discover what’s behind door #1. It could be Cee Lo Green.
They’ve just launched the “Discovery Doors” online contest which they describe as a “new interactive film-based digital gaming experience.” We like gaming as much as the next guy or gal, so we couldn’t resist gettin’ all interactive with Renaissance and tell you how it plays.
The online game is directed by award-winning director Jason Zada, creator of the oh-so-creepy Take This Lollipop Facebook phenom. You enter the lobby of a real life Renaissance hotel filled with a cast of characters who give you keys to unlock doors that have a surprise behind each. We’re not going to tell you what those surprises are, but to give you an idea of the coolness factor, for the contest kick-off Renaissance Hotels surprised an unsuspecting family at the Renaissance New York Hotel 57 with an intimate serenade. When they opened their door they entered a room full of candles, flowers and Cee Lo Green.
