Last night's VH1 Rock of Love finale, in which Bret Michaels had to choose between Jes and Heather, was centered around a trip to ME by Meliá in Cabo San Lucas Mexico.
ME is part timeshare, part family resort, part twenty-something singles haunt. Sounds just as mixed up as the premise for Rock of Love, does it not? If you go, expect to run into everything from bachelor parties to 50th anniversary bashes on the hotel grounds. However, downtown Cabo is walkable from the resort, and from the looks of it, the Bret Michaels type suites come with flat screens, tons of room, and an incredible view of Cabo.
In the end, Bret jetted back to LA and told Heather some version of the following lyrics:
You look at me so funny
Love bite got you acting oh so strange
You got too many bees in your honey
Am I just another word in your page, yeah, yeah
The director of romance works very closely with guests, both in advance of arrival and during their stay, to conceive, plan and create a romantic experience that fulfills their desires and fantasies.

"We create a one-of-a-kind experience for each guest, " she added, "from making unique, personalized arrangements that will set the stage for a marriage proposal to planning an intimate dinner on the sand to re-ignite romance."
Interestingly enough, García was a wedding planner before this new job, and she also spent several years prior to that in the hospitality industry in various positions.
Yet with a director of romance on staff, this hotel better have some seriously romantic tricks up its sleeve. And we're not just talking dinner and a bath.
It could have been billed as Big Brother host marries Big Brother, as on December 23rd Julie Chen married Viacom big wig Les Moonves. The two are currently honeymooning in Las Ventanas in Los Cabos.
At the Baja resort the network duo will be pampered to the hilt. Spas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and even ice rooms, will be at their disposal, should they chose to use them.
And most importantly, if Les wants to take a break from Julie's incessant yammering he can simply stick the iPod ear buds in, and be magically transported to a far away place where sweet music plays and Julie Chen is on mute.
The resort offers iPods to guests for use during their stay. You don't think that had anything to do with the couple's choice do you? Nah.
