The boys over at Thrillist took their party skills to Las Vegas for 36-hours, partnering up with JetBlue to fly a planeload of bloggers as a way to promote their newest email newsletter edition, Thrillist Las Vegas.
After a flight of in-flight WiFi on the BetaBlue plane, the bloggers landed in Sin City and checked into The Mirage.

Hotels are often thought of as places to escape from your everyday life. Places to have memorable experiences whether in the room or outside. Whether you're on a beach or in a busy city, hotels are supposed to be your safe haven.
But of course, this is real life and not an American Express commercial. Shit happens.
And it seems to happen more and more in these parts for Britney Spears. Word is that the Beverly Hills Hotel has blacklisted her. This is obviously good news for us but not the bit where Page Six mentions Britney typically ignores these type of bans. Is any place in LA safe anymore?
In other news:
· Models get jacked: Two men made off with $20,000 after robbing a modeling audition at the Hilton Chicago. [Chicago Sun-Times]

One unlucky hotel had to host Britney Spears after she escaped from the mental ward yesterday and it looks like The Beverly Hills Hotel drew the short stick.
Spears was released yesterday around noon and by 2pm she was causing havoc on the streets of Los Angeles by driving around (with windows down) enticing the paparazzi to take some pics of her.
The scene at the hotel was even worse than what was on the streets. Yes, we know this is Britney Spears and most all of her hotel "stays" are dramatic but this one especially so.
OK! Magazine reports in their timeline of Britney's first day of freedom:
4:40 p.m.: The singer's boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, arrives at the Beverly Hills Hotel in his Mercedes convertible and is rushed up to Britney's room by security guards.
4:47 p.m.: Six LAPD officers arrived at the hotel. Rumors begin to circulate that Britney's parents are on their way to have her sent back to the hospital.
Later that night at 9pm Britney's dad arrives at the hotel to take her back home. Meanwhile the place is full of cops and security guards hanging around the valet parking area, the lobby and the second floor.
So much for a luxurious peaceful stay in Beverly Hills for anyone who was staying there on an actual vacation.

We've been so good about not covering Britney Spears' daily trips to Los Angeles hotels as per our New Years resolution but this time she and her ever-present pack of paparazzi hit up a hotel that wasn't either one of the Four Seasons.
Nope, Britney and her stalker-turned-manager Osama Lufti dropped in on the Sofitel Los Angeles yesterday, according to X17 Online. No word on what she was doing there but she certainly wasn't thinking about her kids. If she was, she would be laying low and doing whatever she could to get custody back but hotel stays and shopping trips covered by the paparazzi are just like, really important y'all.
Interestingly enough, we also noticed that the Sofitel's misspelled blog has been removed from the hotel's website. We guess the hotel heard your "toughts" and decided against running a blog.

2007 Best Celebrity Performance at a Hotel: Britney Spears
Ooops, she did it again. Britney Spears has captured the Best Celebrity Performance Award for the second year in a row.
2007 was not kind to Britney. She shaved her head. She entered rehab. She dated men who later sold their stories to tabloid magazines and newspapers. She bombed at the VMAs and she nearly lost full custody of her kids.
But in the midst of all this craziness she found time to visit several Los Angeles area hotels. To date, she has forced the Britney Spears manic-depressive tornado on the following Los Angeles area hotels (and during a fateful night at Wynn Las Vegas), all of which we doubt will ever be the same:
· Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire
We have no clue what she is doing in these hotels especially since she has two other homes in the area. But our sources say she makes good use of the spas (having even passed out in the steam room at one of the luxury hotel spas). Other folks speculate these hotels may be areas to meet up with drug dealers but we really hope not. Let's pray that 2008 is kinder to L.A. hotels.
Britney Spears may now be officially banned from the Four Seasons Hotel on Doheny Ave.
TMZ is reporting that the hotel has had about enough with the trainwreck and her ever-present paparazzi entourage. And now that her 16-year-old sister Jamie-Lynn Spears is pregnant, the media attention won't be dying down anytime soon.TMZ writes:
We hear guests of the five-star establishment are fed up with all the unwanted attention drawn to their usually relaxing digs; an entrance swarming with feeding paparazzi is not exactly inviting.
On top of that, the spectacle that is Miss Spears has been garnering so much negative press around her erratic rendezvous, that the hotel no longer desires to host the wayward popwreck.
The hotel attempted last week to block her from parking in their underground garage by herself and now it looks like they might be blacklisting her entirely.
Although TMZ said "when one door closes -- try the Peninsula!" that's actually not true in Brit's case as she has been blacklisted from this Beverly Hills hotel as well. For now, she's been hiding out at the Raffles L'ermitage despite having two houses in LA to go home to. Who knows how long this will last? But Britney, if you're looking for a hotel replacement why don't you try Thompson Beverly Hills? We bet they would take you.

When will we stop being obsessed with celebrities? The answer? Probably never. There is just so much good shizz going on right now. And fortunately for us, celebs keep acting out in hotels. So here's a healthy dose of who did what where when and why. Well, maybe not why. Celebrities are all pretty crazy.
· Jamie Foxx: More news on The Florida Room inside the Delano Hotel, Jamie Foxx did celebrate his 40th birthday there. Yawn. Wait...ooh...Urkel was there!
· Tara Reid: Suffering from drunkorexia or just the regular anorexia? Either way, first she kicked it at a hotel pool in Australia. Then she kicked it a pool in Bali. In between that, fell down.
· Pamela Anderson: The Baywatch babe is way past her prime but she's still hosting the New Years Eve party at PURE at Caesars. She will probably celebrate her recent divorce party there too. Or not. Or yes. No, not. Hmm...we'll have to wait and see.
· Britney Spears: Speaking of trainwrecks, Vegas, and marriages, Britney Spears might elope in Sin City to creepy man with creepier goatee, Sam Lufti.
· Paris Hilton: The former prison inmate actually stays at Hilton Hotels. This time she hit up a London Hilton with 18 bags of luggage.

Uh-oh, the Raffles L'ermitage Hotel better watch out. Britney Spears, who has been known to hit up Los Angeles area hotels and inadvertently give them the kiss of death just by showing up with her newest assistant, newest puppy, newest hair color, newest jean skirt and the ever constant throng of paparazzi, has shacked up at the swank hotel on Burton Ave.
The Raffles is best known as being the hotel where Angelina Jolie stashed her kinky sex toys but Britney Spears might change all that. Apparently, her arrival was somewhat tame with the hotel able to successfully push back paparazzi but c'mon this is Britney. We can't wait to see what sort of dramz goes down here.
