Was Steve Jobs Hiding Out in Hawaii and Talking About LSD?

Apple is set to make an announcement very shortly about the dysfunctional antenna reception on the iPhone 4 and it is sure to be a ball-buster for Steve Jobs. Which is probably why Jobs decided to take a vacation to Hawaii recently, if this Gawker sighting is to be believed:
The tipster was having lunch at Kona Village, and is certain that Jobs and his family sat at an adjoining table. The Jobses were described as relaxed and laid back. What's more, says the source, Jobs was describing to his kids the positive, medicinal uses of LSD.
Jobs has spoken on record about his experiences with LSD so this sighting could be totally plausible. But Jobs wasn't the only geek on the island.

Four Seasons Opens in Seattle; Bill Gates Probably Very Happy

Loyal guests of Four Seasons Hotels are no doubt thrilled that the chain has opened their newest hotel, The Four Seasons Seattle, giving them yet another location to travel to. We know about you Four Seasons loyalists--if there ain't a Four Seasons there, you won't go.
The hotel officially opened today with the Art Restaurant and Lounge inside. Perfect for the city's Thursday Art Walk, no? There's also a spa on site whose treatments incorporate natural elements of the coastal region of Puget Sound.
Room rates are steep at $365 a night with the presidential suite going for $5,000 a night. Then again, that's just chump change to Four Seasons' co-owner and Microsoft god Bill Gates who lives nearby in Medina.

Pick Up Chicks at the Rio via Microsoft Surface Computer
The future of dating is looking bleak. First there was the explosion of online dating (which cannot be stopped) -- and now flirting via computer while you're in the same bar is a reality. We can thank Bill Gates.
After the Microsoft Surface computer debuted at the Sheraton NYC this fall, the technology made its way out west and into in an "iBar" in the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Six of these $10,000 (!) machines are in the bar, essentially turning tabletops into touchscreen controlled computers with Harrah's custom software:
A "Flirt" feature in the Surface computers lets people exchange original messages or choose from suggested come-on lines. Patrons can create drink recipes and then have the cocktails delivered to themselves or others. People can use the computers to play games, watch online videos, or take a virtual stroll along the renowned Las Vegas strip without leaving their seat at the "iBar," according to Harrah's.
Slow down here. We're just getting used to the idea of booty call text messages -- we're not sure what we'd do if a stranger sent us a pickup line via computer from 15 feet away.
Custom cocktails, however, we will accept.
