Florence Welch Set Fire to Her Room at The Bowery Hotel After Drinking with Kanye West

That might be one of the oddest headlines we've ever written but it's all true. Flame-haired (heh) singer Florence Welch, the frontleader of Florence and the Machine known for her powerhouse voice and questionably retro bathing suits, nearly burned down the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan.

The rocker recently told Britain' Q Magazine that she accidentally left a cinnamon tea light burning:

“I came back to the hotel, passed out in my ripped dress – no phone, chipped tooth – came round and there was black stuff all over the wall, my book had melted on the bedside table and there was a bucket of water on the floor. Actually the last scene you want to wake up to with a hangover. Half the room was singed.”

Scottish actress Karen Gillan may not be known outside of the U.K., where she stars in the BBC show Doctor Who, but she's quickly earning a rep for herself here in the States. Though, we're guessing it's not the kind of buzz she's hoping to get. Gillan was found nekkid in the halls of the Ace Hotel New York after a night of hardcore partying.

According to the Daily Mail, the 23-year-old was found by some guests at 7 a.m. whimpering and only wearing her birthday suit. Security shortly arrived with a sheet to cover the star and escorted her to her room.

Maybe the LIV nightclub at The Fontainebleau should reconsider their $40 valet parking charge. How else to explain why Lebron James' mom Gloria went crazy on a parking attendant, resulting in her arrest for misdemeanor assault?

NBC Miami got their hands on the police report which said that the valet left her car running for 30 minutes while she talked with friends. When it became clear she wasn't getting in the car anytime soon, the valet turned off the SUV and returned the keys to the valet cashier. That's when Gloria unleashed her fury.

Madonna Uses a Malawi Hotel to Store Her Gym Equipment

Madonna is now facing criticism for squandering money while she neglected to pay up the millions she pledged to Malawi, the homeland of her adopted children, David and Mercy James.

The money was supposed to fund schools, orphanages and hospitals, but Madge has been instead using her loot to store gym equipment in a hotel in the African country.

According to Daily Mail, the Material Girl's staff had to book two rooms in Malawi's most upscale hotel to store all of her fitness equipment for three years, just in case she ever returned to the country.

Is Tiger Blood to blame for hotel room trashing?

Bret Michaels is officially desperate for attention. Just in case we may have forgotten about his "Rock of Love" reality series, his stint on Celebrity Apprentice, his stroke scare and heart surgery and his possible fling with Miley Cyrus' mom, Bret has inserted himself into the public consciousness yet again to tell us that he taught Charlie Sheen how to destroy a hotel room.

The rocker, who was once known as the lead singer of Poison before becoming a reality TV disaster told Access Hollywood reports:

I professionally showed [Sheen] how to bust a hotel room. Because he wasn’t doing a good job at it first,” Michaels told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover. “He was kind of learning. I said, ‘You gotta really let it out man! You gotta let it out and bust this stuff,’” he continued.

Usually, it's Charlie Sheen and steady supply of tiger blood and hookers that causes a scene in swanky hotels but he must have passed on some drama karma to Kacey Jordan, a porn star who was with him during his infamous drug binge the other month. She's also the chick that he wrote a random $30,000 check to for no good reason.

So where do you go after Charlie Sheen gives you 30 grand? The Peninsula Chicago apparently where rooms go for over $500 a night. And what do you do while staying there? Drugs and Twitter, duh.

Except the party was cut short for Kacey after her fans alerted the Chicago police. She was hospitalized last night after tweeting that she took a bunch of pills and alcohol and was waiting to die. TMZ reports:

Muammar Qaddafi's Son is an Obnoxious Hotel Guest

A former girlfriend of Libyan dictator Muammar el-Qaddafi's son, Saadi, has recently detailed his typical rich kid/son-of a dictator behavior to the Sydney Morning Herald and as to be expected, a lot of it centers around his obnoxious hotel behavior. (If it weren't for crazy people and rich people, hotels would probably be pretty boring.)

Typically, Saadi would arrive to a hotel with a black suitcase stuffed with thousands of banknotes, which would be replenished by the Libyan embassy if he ever ran out. And of course, only the best suite in the house would do.

"He would always have the biggest suite and pay for rooms for his servants. He would get very drunk and play loud music in the middle of the night. The rapper 50 Cent was his favourite.

Oh, so you're the jerk that's been keeping guests up at night when they shelled out thousands of dollars to stay in these luxury hotels? Thanks a lot man. Real nice.

They are all up to no good at hotels!

Let's start with The Man with the Golden Voice first. After a life-changing week last week that started with him homeless on the streets of Cleveland and ended with several job offers and a luxury room at the Jumeirah Essex House, Ted Williams was detained by police at the Renaissance Hollywood last night.

The LA Times reports that police were called to the hotel for a disturbance. When they arrived, they found Ted and an "unidentified family member" who had been in a heated argument. (The Gossip Cop says it was one of Ted's daughters.) Maybe they were arguing over who would pay for valet at the hotel which runs up to $29 a night.

Normally, we'd consider it heavenly if someone paid for us to stay in a suite at The Plaza for a few nights but for Charlie Sheen's call girl, Capri Anderson, it turned out to be utter hell.

Appearing on Good Morning America today, Capri tells the morning show that she is suing the messed up "Two and a Half Men" actor for threatening to kill her. The NY Post reports:

In the suit, she repeats the allegations of Sheen's bad behavior, which were first reported yesterday. She says he grabbed her neck with both hands and hurled a lamp at her, which grazed her arm. After Sheen grabbed what may have been a letter opener, Anderson locked herself in the bathroom while Sheen allegedly bashed the door, saying "let me in."

David Arquette has been going around all over town promoting his divorce upcoming show, Beacher's Madhouse at the Hollywood Roosevelt but it looks like he doesn't have an exclusive contract with the hotel for anything else.

The NY Post reports that last weekend Arquette continued his erratic behavior at--where else?--The Mondrian West Hollywood, the hotel of choice for celebs on a downward spiral.

While he didn't pull a Charlie Sheen, he wasn't a model hotel guest either:

The actor, 39, partied until the early hours with a beautiful, 21-year-old female British tourist, her sister and a friend in a suite at LA's Mondrian Hotel, draining the minibar and prompting complaints from other guests due to loud music.

We bet the folks at The Plaza could not be more upset with themselves today for letting heinous man bad boy actor Charlie Sheen into their hotel with a call girl where he promptly went on a coke and alcohol binge that culminated in a serious hotel room trashing of an 18th floor suite. Cops were eventually called and Sheen was found drunk and naked while his "lady friend" was screaming from a locked closet.

Now today, TMZ has the photos we've been wondering about all night--photos of the trashed suite at the Plaza.

These look to be blurry sort of iPhone pictures but you can clearly see a broken chair, Marlboro cigs on the table (we guess this suite isn't non-smoking?), missing lampshades from the bedside tables, a ransacked bed, ripped curtains and some mystery yellow packet on the floor next to a slipper. Apparently, Sheen also broke glass which he then cut his foot on.

Folks, we might have a winner--it looks like Charlie Sheen has beat out David Hasselhoff for Best Celebrity Performance in a hotel because this one is a doozy.

The NY Post reports that police were called to the The Plaza Hotel last night after Sheen, "drunk and naked", trashed his hotel suite after learning he'd lost his wallet and cellphone. Oh and there was a call girl in the room with him too.

Meanwhile, his ex-wife Denise Richards was staying in the hotel's 18th floor Eloise Suite next door to Sheen with their two daughters when all this madness went down. First, The Situation, now this? Poor Eloise (and Charlie Sheen's daughters.)

Sheen, 45, told police he had been "out partying," sources said.

After he returned to his room with an unidentified woman, he noticed his wallet and cellphone were missing, causing him to fly into a rage, sources said.

A police official said the woman in the room with Sheen was an escort.

The hooker called the front desk from Room 1832 and reported that Sheen was passed out on the bed.
