The 12-room, 3-star Hotel Enfrente Arte is filled with all kinds of off-the-wall art and cleverly re-purposed objects (we won't say junk) that now serve as seating areas, of sorts. Lounges feature (convertible) cars, chairs made of luggage, tables made of surfboards, even a mosaic tile motorcycle. Which brings us now to the feature photo above.
The hotel’s rooftop pool and patio include some rather noticeable art disguised as chairs. The City of Ronda, about 63 miles (102 km) west of Malaga, has a history that includes Roman occupation, a famous bullfighting family, and the place where Hemingway penned a novel or two. At Enfrente Arte, an early Spanish building featuring plastered walls and clay tile roofs, the objective is to offer guests the laid back atmosphere of a private home. Buffet breakfast and drinks throughout the day, including beer on tap and wine, are free, as is the Wi-Fi. Deal.
All in all it sounds like a fun, offbeat place to stay, butt that’s just our opinion.
