The Cosy Room was a great size for London, especially seeing that rates will run around £159 ($270) a night. We liked the hardwood floors as always, and the leather armchair in the corner. Quadruple glazing means there’s not a peep to be heard from outside. Bathrooms feature black-and-white tiling, rain showers, and specially-made toiletries.
Shoeboxes are on the top floor of the hotel, with some having far-reaching views over the city. They also dip into the double digits at £79 ($135) a night.
This being the Hoxton, there are lots of quirky touches, like this wallpaper in the bedrooms. Public spaces, including the all-day restaurant on the ground floor and basement Chicken Shop, were coming along nicely as well, and should all be ready to go by late September.
We’ll take you around for a full tour once Hoxton Holborn is open; further expansion is well underway with Amsterdam, New York, and Paris all confirmed for the next two years. We’ll have more for you on that soon.
