The Pool At Oberoi Udaivilas Is Calling Your Name

And it’s saying: take a dip! Or at least it does to us, which we’d gladly do if we could find ourselves in Udaipur, Rajasthan by snapping our finger. Alas, we’ll lust after it from afar, its sparkling blue contrasting against the pale walls and turrets of a traditional palace Udaivilās is modeled after.
Part of Oberoi Hotels, the hotel sits on the banks of Lake Picola, with third-level up Premier Rooms allowing you to step straight off your terrace into the water. A second pool is set within a large courtyard.
The rooms don’t look like it’d be a lot of hardship to spend time in them either, with rather stylish colonial inspired design and starting at a spacious 600 sq ft. We like the teak wood, the hanging lanterns, and the pops of color in the pillows. Bathrooms overlook their own private walled courtyard.
A Premier Room with pool access runs at 35,000INR (about $575) on a Saturday in September.
