Ladies and Gents, pull out your credit cards. The Miami Beach Edition is now taking reservations.

We got the email alert in our inbox today (although it was announced on Facebook yesterday) and quickly clicked over to the site. There we discovered that while the hotel will "premiere" in November, rooms aren't actually available until January 19, 2015. (UPDATE: We've been told that the hotel is definitely opening in November and that the reservations will get moved up as the opening date gets closer.) For now, rates on that opening Monday in January start at $579 a night for a standard king room. Someone pass us the smelling salts.

That rate includes free WiFi, complimentary bottled water, marble bathrooms, a mini-bar (hopefully curated with interesting items like in London), a 46" TV, a lounge chair and ottoman. Oh and the king bed. Valet parking will cost $37. If you want an ocean view room, you'll have to pay $829 a night.

Listen, we expected these rates. After all, it's master hotelier Ian Schrager with superstar designers Yabu Pushelberg in an relatively small, 294-room oceanfront resort during high season in Miami Beach. But it looks like we'll have to wait until next August to actually afford a night there.

Or else, we'll crash at the upcoming AC Hotel by Marriott across the street and just use the Edition for their bowling alley, nightclub, bars and restaurant. Deal.
