HELLO LOVER. Forgive us for drooling, but how gorgeous does this rooftop terrace look? Good enough to make us want to book a (one-way) ticket to Bodrum, where this arrival deck will welcome you to the just-opened Mandarin Oriental Bodrum and the appropriately named Cennet Koyu, or Paradise Bay.

There are 109 rooms and suites overlooking the Aegean Sea, all with enough room to roam around in, given that they start at over 700 square feet. Outdoor space is something else they have in common, whether it’s a balcony or actual garden with private infinity-edge pool.

This is what that looks like on the inside, with lots of warm wood offset with whites and greys. If space is what you are looking for, the top of the line Oriental Villa clocks in at over 6,000 square foot with 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Toiletries are by Acqua di Parma and WiFi is complimentary if you create an online profile.

The pool looks equally worthy of an afternoon of our time, interspersed with trips to one of ten restaurants and bars or the extensive spa.

We will require to put some money aside for this though, as the “Discover Paradise Bay” package, which runs until the end of the year, starts at €595 ($810) a night for a Garden View Room. That does include a €150 ($200) daily dining or spa credit and comes with a minimum stay requirement of three days. Suites or villas get €300 ($400) daily credit.
