And so the expansion of Four Seasons Hotels continues apace: we told you about Moscow (weíre still in shock over the prices), Boston round two, Kyoto being years off but in progress, and now Dubai (above) and Johannesburg are opening at the same time later this year. Having a little wander around the internet, we found reference to other Four Seasons Hotels coming to Puerto Rico, Oman, Barbados, and more as well.

Whether itís a dose of winter sun in the Middle East, or summer sun and safari in South Africa youíre looking for, reservations are open from December 1 at either property.

In true Dubai-style, the Four Seasons at Jumeirah Beach does things big: 237 rooms starting at over 750 square feet, 10 restaurants and lounges, three swimming pools and spa, and a private beach. The design looks fairly typical Four Seasons, with all rooms having some form of outdoor space. Also big? Nightly rates, with an introductory offer ringing in at 2,204AED, or just over $600.

Very different in feel and setting is Four Seasons The Westcliff, where youíll find cobblestone lanes meandering between the various pink-washed buildings that make up the hotel. The 117 rooms and suites arenít afraid of a little zebra print, and there are of course a number of restaurants and bars, as well as a spa and two pools. Introductory rates for a Superior Room start at 3,795ZAR, about $350 a night.

Looking further into the future, the Four Seasons website already lists Bahrain Bay (late 2014), as well as Casablanca in early 2015. We know from the group itself that a third Moroccan hotel is in the works in Agadir, a hotel in Madrid, Spain, and in New Delhi and Bengaluru, India. In the US, there is downtown New York, a replacement hotel in Philadelphia, and Surfside, Florida. Digging a little further, there is a long list of plans here that includes Four Seasons Resort Cayo Largo in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Four Seasons Resort & Residences Barbados, and everything from Oman to Bodrum and the Egyptian Red Sea to Grenada. More is to come, thatís for sure.
