The multi-day running camp combines the beautiful Jackson Hole mountain terrain with Orton's personalized approach to trail running and training. The camp will take place twice this year, once on August 13-18 and once on September 10-14. Guests will stay at either the Hotel Terra or the Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, both located in Teton Village at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain.
The camp says its itinerary is designed for experienced runners of all levels (is there such thing as an experienced beginner?), but participants should be able to comfortably run for 2-3 hours before signing up. Those from sea level should also keep in mind that Jackson Hole is about 6,500 feet above sea level at the base of the mountain.
The cost for the four-day camp is $899, which includes all activities plus six scheduled meals. It does not include lodging, however, so be sure to factor that in. Rates on August 13th for the Hotel Terra and the Teton Mountain Lodge start at $329/night and $309, respectively.
