The Soho Boutique Hotel lies in the heart, so to speak, of historic Budapest. From the outside, and even throughout the modern and unadorned public areas, you might not know these special suites existed. There are two suites, named after “Krolock” and “Herbert,” characters from a popular local musical, Vampirok Balja (Dance of the Vampires.) This vampire tale is based on a 1967 film by Roman Polanski, The Fearless Vampire Killers, that featured both himself and Sharon Tate.
The suites were created by PS Production, the show’s production company, and Kare Budapest, an interiors furnishings supplier. We think the Krolock Suite is an especially fitting design, given the subject matter. It is dark and "retro gothic" in atmosphere (a tinge creepy,) with a twist of glamour. It sure looks like a worthy setting for even the most exclusive of "interviews," and if not that, then a place for Sookie, Bill and Eric fans to commiserate about "True Blood's" final season.
