The Shelborne Wyndham Grand South Beach in Miami is in the midst of some major renovations (to the tune of $150 million) but when it re-opens in June, the staff might be looking like they came off a movie set.

That's because the iconic Collins Avenue hotel has enlisted Hollywood costume designer, Carol Ramsey, to create 1950's-inspired uniforms for all front of the house employees. Ramsey has a bit of experience in the realm since she worked on the show, "Magic City", which is set in a Miami hotel in the late 1950s.

Here's what she has in store for the Shelborne (heads-up to Shelborne job applicants, you are gonna need some fit legs.)

· Front-of-house: slim lapel suits for the men and an elegant scoop neck pencil dress with a cinched waistband and jutting pockets for the women, all-encompassing a rich espresso coloring.

· At the pool: skimpy, yet sophisticated cabana-inspired outfits like cigarette-style short dresses, one-piece “sun suits” with a bow tie clinging at the waistline, and topped off with straw pagoda hats

· Library Bar: espresso-colored bubble back dresses with beading details, and button-up shirts with a pop of burgundy striping along with trim, slant-pocket pants

· All the Shelborne uniforms will be rounded out with embroidered “S” logos as well as chic accessories for women

The hotel and its 200 guest rooms are currently closed while the renovations continue. But you'd never know judging by their Facebook feed since the hotel hosted events for both Miami Music Week and the South Beach Wine and Food Festival. Here's a sneak peek at the new guest rooms. We likey.

We found rooms for June 1 for city view rooms (both double or king) for $419 a night. But f you book the hotel's preview package, that rate drops to $335 a night. Totes doable.
