Everything Will Come Up Pink Roses at The Langham Hotel in Dubai
Langham Hotels are bringing their luxury hotel experience, and their signature color of light pink, to Dubai in 2015.
The announcement was made yesterday that The Langham, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai will open on the crescent of Palm Jumeirah with 323 rooms, all with outdoor terraces and sea-front views. Fifty-three of the rooms, designed by Aedas Limited, will be either one or two-bedroom suites and 22 of those will have their own plunge pools. #todiefor
The restaurants, most of them al fresco, will range from Japanese to Arabic and Italian fusion while the Palm Court lounge will be modeled after the original at The Langham Hotel in London (remember, this was the first hotel lounge to serve traditional afternoon tea in 1865.) The hotel will also feature a Langham Club Lounge with complimentary food and beverage throughout the day, along with a dedicated concierge service. To peep on the Langham Club experience, read our story HERE.
There will even be a separate Travellers Lounge where guests can hang out before their room is ready or after check-out but before their flight. Aside from a library, entertainment options and light dining, this lounge will have showers and change rooms.
But this Langham is actually hoping to make waves in Dubai not with their culinary or lounge concepts, but rather their fitness concepts. The hotel will have one of the largest hotel recreation facilities in the area, with almost 4,000 square meters of space, spread out over two floors. Here's what will be inside:
For an unrivalled retreat of relaxation, the group's signature award-winning Chuan Spa will showcase a remarkable 26 treatment rooms as well as therapies based on the sound principles of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM.) The expansive fitness centre features a free form pool, exercise studio, and a full range of strength- and cardio-training equipment. Catering to family holiday makers is a 445-square meter Kids Club with a fun slide, play zone and themed party area.
Oh but that's not all. Really, there's more. The Langham's signature pink roses will be grown at the resort with the assistance of a refrigerated irrigation system. Only in Dubai, kids.
No word on room rates but we expect them to be upwards of $400 a night.
