The Ritz will have 244 guestrooms, starting with “Resort View” rooms at 450 square feet, going up to those with views of the surrounding mountains. All rooms have a private balcony or patio, but Fire Pit rooms have just that, for those chilly desert nights.
There will be two types of suites, and a Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge with the usual food presentations during the day.
Aside from a pool-side bar and casual eatery, there will be two restaurants: State Fare Bar & Kitchen, with Californian cuisine, and The Edge steakhouse. The Ritz-Carlton Spa will have 16 treatment rooms, a fitness center and indoor & outdoor yoga areas.
Reservations will open on March 17; we’d expect rates to start at $350 or so a night, going up during peak season, and potential deals to be had during the slower – and scorching – summer months.
