Finding a hotel room is easy. Simply go on the Internet or use your smartphone and voila! You're booked.

But if you are only interested in new hotels, then that's a different story. Luckily, you have us. And we're obsessed with new hotels. Here's a list of hotels that have opened or are opening this month (and a few that aren't going to make it.) Got a new hotel to add? Send it to us!

HOTELS OPENING IN MARCH 2014

CABANA BAY BEACH RESORT at Universal Studios Orlando: The newest addition to the Loews Hotels near Universal Studios in Orlando promises to be not just family-friendly but also value-oriented when it opens on March 31. Family suites will start at $174 a night on March 31st, opening night while regular rooms will go for $119. Compare that to the other hotels nearby charging upwards of $300 a night and the Cabana Bay is definitely delivering on value. The complex will also have a bowling alley, several pools, a lazy river and the Baylight Diner all-day restaurant.

· ALT MONTREAL GRIFFINTOWN: The Groupe Germain Hospitalité is opening its fifth ALT Hotel in Montreal at the end of March. We were actually able to find a room on March 27 for $119CAD a night on the hotel's website. For those not familiar with ALT, this 154-room hotel is a “no-frills-chic hotel concept combining modern design and eco-friendly features at an affordable rate.” Even cooler, the hotel is made with aluminum panels and bricks recycled from historic buildings in the area.

· SWISSOTEL SOCHI KRASNAYA POLYANA: The Olympics are over but if you're still interested in visiting Sochi (um, are you?) the Swissotel there will be opening on March 19. Or so they say. Rates at the hotel, which is located in the Caucasus Mountains, start at 15000RUB a night. Or about $415 a night. We hope there are working toilets, at least. Meanwhile, it looks like the other Swissotel in Sochi, the Swissotel Kamelia which overlooks the Black sea, has already opened. Again, so they say.

HOTEL REBRANDINGS

· LOEWS HOLLYWOOD: Formerly a Renaissance, the Loews Hollywood, next to the Dolby Theater, has just finished a $31 million renovation of its 632 guestrooms and suites along with its lobby. A brand new restaurant concept is coming soon but in the meantime, rates start at $305 a night on weekends for a room with two double beds. We also found a junior suite available this weekend for $330.

CROWNE PLAZA LYON FRANCE: This new Crowne Plaza was formerly a Concorde Hotel but it has already completed its re-branding (but not any significant renovations) before the March 1 deadline. Rates at the hotel, in the Cite International of Lyon, start at 110 Euros for a king room.

JUST OPENED

· HAMPTON INN WATERLOO, LONDON: This hotel was supposed to open on March 15 but it actually opened a bit ahead of schedule. Situated near the Waterloo tube station and the London Eye observation wheel (about a five-minute walk away), the Hampton Inn offers modern yet affordable rooms with free WiFi and hot breakfast included in the room rate. We found a queen room with a sofa bed for 189 pounds tomorrow night.

· Waldorf Astoria Beijing: Another Hilton hotel also opened ahead of schedule, the modern Waldorf Astoria Beijing, which debuted a few weeks ago. Learn more about the hotel and its cool contemporary style here. Rates start around $362US a night. Btw, if you like that parasol, you can buy it from your room at the hotel.

· BROUGHTON HOTELS IN CHICAGO: Last week, we mentioned three new hotels that have been recently renovated by Broughton Hotels. Not only do they sport a new look but they are crazy affordable. Check 'em out here.

· MELIA VIENNA: The Melia Vienna debuted its 253 rooms and 14 “design suites” on February 24th. What's cool about this hotel is that it's located in Vienna's new Danube Tower, the tallest skyscraper in Vienna. Amenities include a John Harris Fitness Center and Spa, restaurants on both the ground floor and 57th floor, and of course, a rooftop bar with a DJ on weekends.

NOT GONNA MAKE IT

· ALOFT MANHATTAN FINANCIAL DISTRICT: This new Aloft was supposed to open sometime in March but now it's been pushed back to May.

· HOME2SUITES LONG ISLAND CITY: Similarly, Hilton's Home2 Suites concept was supposed to open in March but has been pushed back until June 2.
