There will be six cocktails in total, all priced at £17 ($28). Created especially for the week are:
Yellow Submarine Gin: sherry fino, Galliano L’Autentico, celery bitter, served on ice with cucumber.
The Pink Poire: pear vodka, freshly squeezed rhubarb juice, Suze French aperitif, freshly squeezed lemon juice, homemade almond syrup, champagne brut, served in a wine glass with an orange zest, dry pear slice and orange flower water spray.
Brought over from Paris by Colin:
Serendipity Calvados: apple juice, fresh mint, champagne brut, served tall with mint.
French 76 Vodka: freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar, champagne, served in a champagne flute with lemon zest.
Creations by Agostino:
Connaught Martini: gin or vodka, home blend dry vermouth, selection of tailor made bitters; cardamom, lavender, ginseng, liquorice, coriander seeds, ginger and vanilla, with lemon zest or olive.
Fluerissimo: Cognac, sugar cube, Peychaud’s Bitter, violet liquor, champagne brut, served in a champagne coupe, with rose petals and sugar diamond.
The Bar at the Connaught is open 4pm to 1am Monday to Saturday.
