At close to six years of delays and drama, we've not been quite sure whether or not to get our hopes up for The Ludlow Hotel on Manhattan's Lower East Side ever actually opening.

However, it does look like an opening date is imminent. We recently stumbled across a real, live website for the hotel, which states" "Bookings from Spring 2014.

Further to October's report that hotelier Sean MacPherson (backed by BD Hotels) had enlisted Mario Carbone and Rich Torissi for the Ludlow Hotel's restaurant, a report in the New York Times last week says that the restaurant will be "a roughed-up Gallic bistro" named Dirty French.

The NYT report also puts the number of rooms at 187, up from the 162 we were told to expect back in September. Let's hope more info on the Ludlow doesn't stay on the down low from now on. We can't even begin to wonder what those guest rooms will look like.
