Suite 57 certainly has the apartment feel, albeit the apartment belonging to your super stylish and successful friend. The suite is blessed with an unobstructed view of Central Park, which you can admire out of the giant window in the double shower room (don't worry, the shyer guests will be able to shade the window)or from the two double beds.
There's a total of three bathrooms, a large dressing room/closet area, a full kitchen, large lounge and a tempting Mad Men-esque fully stocked liquor cabinet. All the design features we loved of the other 239 rooms are present and correct: custom-designed Sferra linens, Neil George spa products, Illy espresso machines and Beats by Dr. Dre sound systems.
So far the space has been largely used for launch parties and the like, but if you are looking to bed down yourself, expect to pay $5,500 a night. We'd better start saving now.
