Decisions, decisions, decisions. We were completely torn over what snapshot from the just-opened Ace Hotel Los Angeles we should put up first.

That's because the hotel has so many awesome Ace-y things to show off--from the clever penciled artwork on the walls to the Stumptown coffee offerings, the curious library hanging above the front desk, the rooftop pool and lounge with killer views of Downtown LA and the immaculately preserved United Artists theater which was built in 1927.

But we'll show you that Ace goodness tomorrow. Today, we'll take you inside a guest room on the third floor.

This is a "Medium" but it just barely breaks 300-sq.ft. Still, it's packed with fun amenities such as a flat-screen TV, a custom Rev Radioa mini-bar stocked with interesting items like Abba Zabba, a noodle bowl, caramel popcorn and avocado potato chips. We also liked the gigantic windows which overlook Broadway.

The shower and sink are tucked in a corner of the room next to the door while the bathroom is enclosed in its own room on the other side of the door. There is a curtain to pull around the shower so you won't have to show the full monty but otherwise, it's pretty wide open. The shower sports Rudy's Toiletries in dispensers while a Pearl+ soap hangs from the sink mirror.

Of course, as with all Aces, the experience extends far beyond the rooms. We'll have that full report for you tomorrow. In the meantime,if you like what you see, Ace LA has rooms open this weekend for $199 a night.
