Dorsett Hotel Will Take Over Shepherd's Bush Pavilion London

East London might get its floating yacht hotel this Spring, but there is news for the west this week too: Shepherd’s Bush will see the conversion of its 1923 Grade II-listed Pavilion into a 317-bedroom hotel, which also signifies the entry of a new brand into the UK capital: Dorsett Hotels.

The majority of Dorsett’s hotels is in Hong Kong and China, which explains why those 317 rooms will be “Chinese-inspired”. We don’t have any renderings or images to go with that description yet, but we do know there will be free high-speed internet in all of them.

Some of the rooms will face this rather dramatic 7-story atrium with a “backlight gold façade”. An Executive Lounge on the ground floor is available for guests in Executive rooms and one of 24 suites. The hotel will have two restaurants – a contemporary brasserie and a fine dining Chinese restaurant by an “established restaurateur” – a spa, gym, and meeting facilities.

When reservations start, there will be an opening offer for £123 ($204) a night, including breakfast. And! This isn’t the only Dorsett Hotel planned for London; a second one will open in 2015 in the City, which we will have more for you on next week.
