The Gansevoort Invites Fashion Writers to Take Advantage of its Roof
Besides the designers, the models, the buyers, and the various hangers-on, Fashion Week draws another key tribe to its host city: the fashion bloggers.
In the whirl of excitement of this very special time of year, it is often tough for writers to find a good spot to focus and compose those important blog posts. Not this year; because the Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC, where the neighbors include the stores of Diane von Furstenberg, Stella McCartney, and Tory Burch, is offering a Writer’s Block Rooftop Retreat.
Fashion writers covering the shows -- and the parties and the celebs -- can head up to the rooftop garden between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. every day until September 12th, where they can partake of complimentary coffee and WiFi.
Not that we'd encourage dishonesty, but we hear that you don't necessarily have to be a fashion writer to take advantage of the rooftop views, coffee, and WiFi over the next week. All we're saying is that probably nobody's going to be critiquing your blog before pouring you a cup of joe.
