Archer Hotel, 45 West 38th Street
Probably the most highly anticipated of the district's new hotels, the Archer will be a 21-story, 180-room independent hotel slated to open early 2014. The new hotel is going to be design heavy -- even offering different bedroom design pallettes.
Knickerbocker Hotel, 1466 Broadway
This century old hotel where F. Scott Fitzgerald once ran amok has been rumoured to be getting renovated for ages. Finally the Beaux-Arts building, built in 1906, is being restored to its former glory by FelCor Lodging Trust and the new 330-room hotel should open early 2014.
Hilton Garden Inn, 136 West 42nd Street
In contrast to the historic Knickerbocker Hotel (just around the corner), the new 282-room Hilton Garden Inn, which is topped out and slated to open next year, is being designed by the prolific, but not exactly exciting, Peter Poon Architects.
25 West 38th Street
Fortuna Realty Group state that they are currently in the pre-development and design phase for this (so far nameless) 170-room luxury boutique hotel. Amenities will include a spa, rooftop bar and lounge, and an observation Deck.
Le Soleil 38 West 36th Street
As we just reported the other day, Vancouver's Le Soleil brand is making its first move into the New York market with this 160-room luxury hotel scheduled for either summer 2014 or January 2015 -- they don't seem too sure.
Even Hotel 321 West 35th Street
The second NYC outpost of Even Hotels, will be opening here some time in 2015 and will have 150 rooms over 25 floors.
218 West 35th Street
What was once the site of a Howard Johnson hotel is said to be opening as a new unnamed hotel with 342 rooms spread over 28 stories. Projected opening date is some time in 2014.
59-61 West 36th Street
The parking garage currently occupying the site was purchased by Hidrock Realty .. and that's about all the information we have.
