What, you might ask, is a Skyscraper Curator program? Well, the hotel promises a bounty of different activities that will offer guests "a fun, in-depth view into the world-famous buildings that have defined Manhattan's identity as a towering metropolis". The program includes talks during Friday evening happy hours in the 30th-floor Skyline Club, a display of a local artist's sketches of the views from the hotel, and a travel package that includes skyline-facing West Tower accommodations, Skyline Club access (including breakfast and hors d'eouvres), and welcome skyscraper-themed treats.
The 154 rooms of the ONE UN's West Tower were recently renovated -- with one suite making it on to our Sweet Suites list -- and there are said to be plans on the horizon for a full renovation for the East Tower as well.
