Rooms are nearly finished and ready to be filled with furnishings that mimic the hotel's Art Deco history
Plans include to introduce The Redbury App, which allows guests to order room service, wake-up calls, and more straight from their cell phones and tablets. You can even make dinner reservations as well. Though anyone who wants to veer from the SLS' Bazaar by José Andrés and Katsuya by Starck restaurants can stay on property and dine on handmade pastas, pizzettas straight from the Italian wood-burning oven, and home-made gelato at the Redbury's onsite eatery, Lorenzo.
A SoBe soak with a view
Should you manage to ever leave a tub like this to go out on the town, complimentary BMW house car service is available for guests traveling within a three-mile radius of the hotel. We recommend reserving early as rides of this nature always go fast. BTW, you may decide to bypass the water works at the SLS as the Redbury will have their own 12,000-square-foot rooftop pool to hang out. This is good, because we find the SLS pool scene to be a bit OTT for our tastes. Hopefully the Redbury's will be more chill.
Lots of attention has been paid to the bathrooms, and sbe's Ciel brand will be used for amenities.
Stay tuned as construction continues on this project. In the meantime, we'll continue getting detes on the SLS Hotel & Residences Brickell, set to open in 2016.
