Drink connoisseurs who purchase the Louis XIII ‘flight’ will be invited to the family estate of Rémy Martin in Cognac, France, where you’ll be able to discover the history behind the iconic XIII brand, see the “chais” (cellars) and learn the secrets of how it’s produced. After a private tour of the grounds, you’ll be treated to a lunch prepared by the executive chef of the estate, Philippe Saint Romas (who has worked at the official residence of the French President and with Alain Ducasse).
A limo will pick you up from a nearby rail station or airport and take you to the estate, but you’re on your own to get within limo distance, and if you’d like accommodation, well, that’s on you too.
The “Louis XIII Dorchester Experience” is available at The Bar for £2,013 ($3,154) per flight, and only while those dwindling stocks last. A room at The Dorchester at the end of September is £654 for a Superior King ($1,025).
