Guests who are in need of workout gear can have the following sent up to their rooms--workout clothes from UnderArmour including shorts, socks, shoes, shirts and even, sports bras; an iPod Shuffle fully loaded with workout songs; a yoga mat, stretch bands, light weights and running maps for the local area. All guests have to do is simply tell their Trump Attaché they are in need of this workout gear and voila, it will be there. No trips to a mall to buy cheap running shoes or to a drugstore for a random pair of socks.
The Travel Fit program also extends down to the hotel's fitness center where Technogym has put together detailed workout routines with step-by-step instructions available on nifty little cards that guests can take with them.
Paul Sposare, director of sales and marketing for the Trump International Hotel, said the hotel lets guests know of the program in their reservation confirmation letter but there is no need to request it before they arrive. After all, it's there in case you forget your own stuff. However, the Trump International only has 20 of the workout kits on hand and so far, Sposare said the response has been great. So if you're the absent-minded type, perhaps you should request the Travel Fit before you check-in.
