First shots of the rooms look reliably Four Seasons, with the signature bed, a seating and work area, and balcony overlooking the Tom Fazio-designed golf course. We like the bright blue accents, and while we certainly weren’t expecting Donald Duck wallpaper, we’re curious if the hotel will find subtle ways to include the Magic Kingdom in the room design without the obvious stuffed toys for kids.
If you are looking for a meeting venue, or want to bring the entire extended family, and book a minimum of ten rooms, rates start at $229 next September, going up to $249 from October 1 to just before Christmas (we’re just assuming the holiday season will be hellaciously expensive). The $249 is also available for September 2015 if that’s already on your horizon.
You can choose three additional benefits from a pre-set list, like a complimentary room per 40 booked rooms, a discount on golf or the spa, or welcome amenities for meeting attendees. Meeting space sprawls over 37,000 square feet both in- and outdoors. If in need of a little creative inspiration, the Disney Event Group can be contacted to bring ‘the magic to one’s event’. Group bookings must be made by September 30 this year to qualify for the opening offer.
