7 American Hotel Pools We Love

Wahoo! After a long rough winter, the unofficial kick-off of summer has finally arrived. Wherever you're headed this Memorial Day Weekend*--the Shore, the Hamptons, Las Vegas, Nowhere, etc.--we're sure you're bound to encounter a swimming pool or two. And as it turns out, we've got swimming pools on our mind too. Here are 7 of our favorite American Hotel swimming pools. Perhaps you will end up at one of them this weekend?

Mackinac Island's Grand Hotel: A classic Americana pool on Michigan's Mackinac Island. It's also where famous "mermaid" Esther Williams once filmed a movie.

Saguaro Palm Springs: Those colors just get us so happy! Another round of margaritas, please!

InterContinental Chicago: It might be an indoor pool but that means you can swim rain or shine or seriously muggy humid weather.

Dream Downtown NYC: Swimming on a rooftop in NYC? Um, YES.

Ritz-Carlton South Beach: Because the pool is spectacular and there's a beach just beyond it. Oh and we can't forget the tanning butler.

Four Seasons Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay: In a town overrun by insane pool parties, the Four Seasons pool is practically serene. And the tasty food at their new Press Lounge has us, well, impressed.

Sunset Tower Hotel: On a clear day in Los Angeles, you will fall in love with the pool at the Sunset Tower.

*Please remember to tip your hat in remembrance of the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who died for our country.

My son and I

We really like the pool area at WESTIN LA CANTERA. They have an adult pool area, a kids pool area, lazy river and water slide. It was really nice when we were there.
