Where The World's Most Beautiful Woman Vacations

People Magazine recently named Gwyneth Paltrow 2013’s "World's Most Beautiful Woman" and that set off a debate frenzy as to whether the actress deserved such a title. Even Paltrow herself has been quoted as saying that while she’s honored, it’s “obviously not true.”

Still, we’re more interested in where a woman with such a high honor go for a little R&R? Especially now after that much publicity. Well, we’re happy to say she’s a fan of some of our favorite places!

Viceroy Sugar Beach, St. Lucia
Paltrow visited the newly renamed and rebranded resort (it used to be Jalousie) with her children, Apple, 8, and Moses, 6. She wrote on her lifestyle website Goop.com, “We are just back from an amazing (and sadly short) holiday at Sugar Beach -- A Viceroy Resort in St. Lucia. It was heaven.” Oh, and she also had to clarify that Moses wasn't drinking a pina colada out of his coconut.

Read on for more of Paltrow's perennial favorites.

La Mamounia, Morocco
The historic Marrakesh hotel became an instant favorite of Ms. Paltrow the minute she set foot inside. She raved about the architecture, and the spa, saying “I couldn’t resist a daily Hammam treatment at the hotel’s spa. Get this: 15 minutes in a steam room, a full-body lather in Black Soap, an exfoliating rub down, a Ghassoul (Moroccan clay) body masque, and then a warm shower... Ridiculously lavish!”

The Carlyle, New York City
Despite its recent bad luck, this classic Upper East Side hotel is a Paltrow favorite, and was especially useful while her apartment was being remodeled. She says, "The Carlyle is my favorite big uptown hotel. It's very grown up and old school, almost like another world and time."

Hotel Ritz, Paris
Although closed for renovations until 2014, nonetheless this legendary hotel remains close to the Gwyneth’s heart. No matter how many Parisian new hotels she tries, she always returns to the Ritz. She’s said, “Yes, it costs an arm and a leg, but it's worth it."
