Hotels Get Summer Ready With Boozy Poolside Treats

It’s almost our favorite time of the year, where we get to laze by the pool, sipping on umbrella-topped cocktails. But really, that seems so 1990s, right? Today's bartenders are getting super creative with their libations. We’re already hearing about yummy mixes that have us begging Mother Nature to hurry up with summer already.

It looks like the West Coast has a jump on these tasty treats, so we'll just lust over the pics until they make the rounds Stateside.

From boozy shakes and sorbets, and other goodies, it looks like poolside fun has an alcoholic accent like never before.

Here are some we’re looking forward to trying:

The Neapolitan, The Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas: "The Lovely Bunch of Coconuts" is a popsicle with pineapple juice, coconut cream, Don Q coconut rum, simple syrup and coconut flakes. How fast do you think you can lick it before the Vegas sun melts it?
Or, sip on a W.W.E.D (What Would Elvis Do), a cool chocolate bourbon spiked shake with peanut butter and banana.

Hotel Bel-Air, Los Angeles: The seasonal Farmer’s Market Push Pops are laced with Limoncello. Molto bene!

The M Resort Spa Casino, Las Vegas: Starting May 4th, this trendy hotel’s Daydream at PoolClub party will once again serve up the popular SnöBar’s line of alcohol infused popsicles and ice creams. There are four different flavors to sample: Pink Squirrel (brandy, almond liqueur and creme de cacao), Grasshopper (brandy, creme de menthe and creme de cacao), Brandy Alexander (brandy and creme de cacao) and Brandy Alexander Chocolate Chip (brandy, creme de cacao and chocolate chips). Each frozen treats is the equivalent of one mixed drink.

Cool down and then get buzzed up? Yessir! Bring on the sun!
