Starwood Hotels Really Wants You To Spend Winter In Canada

Yes, it�s winter and yes, Canada can be cold. But that also means fluffy snow and chestnuts still roasting by an open fire. Starwood Hotels & Resorts wants to entice you to visit the country with some �winterful� packages (yeah, yeah, we know!).

1) �Two Nights are Never Enough in Canada: Two for the Price of One� package �- This sweet deal lets you book a long weekend of your choosing at over 50 Starwood Hotels across the country so that you can cuddle up during those cold, dark nights of winter. You pay for two nights and they�ve got the third one covered. Rates in a Deluxe King at the Westin Calgary, for instance, will only set you back $179, but you need to arrive between Thursday and Saturday.

2) It�s Hockey Night in Canada �- With the �Hockey Night Special� package at the newly-reno�ed Le Centre Sheraton Montreal, you get a special rate of $139 for a Traditional King on home game nights. Montreal�s Bell Centre is across from the hotel, so if you have that beer swagger going on after the game, you�re nice and close.

Le Centre Montreal also has a �Winter 2013 Sweet Deal� package: Book a room starting at $179, arriving Thursday to Sunday, and you get 50% off the second night plus a coupon (kind of feels like a dirty word, doesn't it?) book for various activities around the city that�s worth about $500.

3) �Settle in During the Snowstorm with Sheraton� package �- Now for this Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel package you have to act fast �cause you need to arrive somewhere between today and Saturday, February 9, but it�s worth the hassle of getting your suitcase packed. Why? Because it's only $119 for a Traditional Room and, when we checked yesterday night, there were still rooms available. Call 866-716-8101 and mention rate plan SNOW for this one.

4) No fancy package name here: It�s just the �Save at least 20% When You Book by Friday� package -- The The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver has a rate starting at $129 per night until March 15, BUT (there�s always a �but�) you need to book it TODAY (as in �today� � Friday, February 8!) to get this deal. If you miss it, the hotel also has a Valentine's package.
