Let's start with the hotel that's not only home to "Hollywood's Living Room" aka the Windows Lounge but will also be a temporary home to 60 actual Oscar nominees. Yup, we're talking about the Four Seasons Los Angeles. Here are their clever award-themed drinks (all priced at $16):
Argos My Oscar (award)
· 1/2 oz Lemon juice
· 1/2 oz Lemon zest simple syrup **
· 1/2 oz strawberry preserves
· 1/2 oz white rum
· 1 oz dark rum
· Lemongrass skewered strawberry
· Combine all the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker. Shake and Strain into a martini glass.
Life of Papaya
· 1 oz Papaya juice
· 1/2 oz Grapefruit juice
· ½ oz Triple Sec
· 2 oz white rum **
· sugar rim w/ orange bitters
· Orange Half Wheel
· Combine all the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker. Shake and Strain into a rocks glass over ice.
Honest Abe
· 1 ½ oz Champagne
· ½ oz Lemon juice
· 1 ½ oz Apple juice
· ½ oz Ginger syrup
· Floating raspberries
· Combine the lemon juice, apple juice and ginger syrup together in a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into a champagne glass.
Sparkling Playbook
· ¾ oz Pomegranate juice
· ¾ oz simple syrup
· ½ oz fresh lemon juice
· ½ oz Elder flower liqueur
· 1 ½ oz vodka
· Topped w/ Prosecco and thyme sprig
· Combine all the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into Collins glass over ice.
Zero dark thirsty
· 1 oz Strong chamomile tea **
· ¼ oz Vanilla extract
· ½ oz simplesSyrup
· ½ oz Limoncello
· ½ oz fresh lemon juice
· 1 ½ oz spiced rum
· orange peel
· Combine all the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into a rocks glass over ice.
Le Mizz Fizz
· 4 oz Champagne
· ½ oz hibiscus syrup
· 1 hibiscus flower
· gold dusted Strawberry
· Strain the hibiscus syrup into a champagne glass. Garnish with flower and strawberry.
Elsewhere in Los Angeles, The Beverly Hills Hotel is offering a reserve vintage 1985 Veuve Clicquot Champagne ($350 in a 1.5L magnum format) to commemorate the 85th Oscars. They've also created The Envelope Please, made with Karlsson's Gold Vodka, peach-honey syrup, fresh squeezed lemon juice and Moët Imperial Champagne, the official champagne of the awards.
Over at the Bev Hills Hotel's sister property, The Hotel Bel-Air, two specialty drinks have been created for awards season: The Red Carpet, made with Ketel One Citroen, Cointreau, lemon juice, simple syrup and a splash of raspberry puree and Best Dressed with Skyy Citrus, Cointreau, lime juice, passionfruit puree and cranberry juice.
But it's not LA-area hotels having all the Oscar drinking fun. The Vanderbilt Grace, a historic mansion located in Newport, Rhode Island, is throwing an Oscar party in the hotel's MUSE restaurant on February 24th. The festivities begin at 7pm and aside from the Oscar-themed cocktails, the party will serve gold popcorn, Oscar trivia and cookies in the shape of the Oscar statuette.

The W San Diego is also throwing an Oscar party on Sunday in conjunction with their regular Liquid Sundays party. But the hotel is also throwing a pre-Oscars party on February 21st. Here's what they are serving:
The Essence of Pi:
· 1 oz. of TY KU premium sake and spirits
· 1 oz. of Veev Acai
· 1/2 oz. Apple Liquor
· 1/2 oz. pineapple juice
· Splash of sweet and sour
· Shake and strain into martini glass
· Garnish with pineapple
LINCOLN:
· 2 oz. Jeremiah
· 1/2 oz. lemon juice
· 1 lemon wedge
· 1 cherry
· Splash lemonade
· Splash soda
· Muddle as an Old Fashioned
Out in the serene Red Rock country of Sedona, Arizona, The L'Auberge de Sedona is getting in on the Oscars game with their own Red Rock Cosmo made with 1 (1.5 fl. oz) jigger vodka, 1/2 fl. oz. cointreau, 1 tsp. fresh lime juice, 1.5 fl. oz. cranberry juice and 1 twist lime zest for garnish.
