Armani London Is Coming Soon To An Admiralty Arch Near You
Giorgio Armani is hard at work on his next hotel project, and, for now, he's favoring Europe over the USA (though we partly knew this already). The world's third Armani Hotel will reportedly go up in London at the historic Admiralty Arch.
Back in October, we learned that the building had been purchased by Rafael Serrano (the man behind Bulgari London) with plans to convert it into a 100-room luxury hotel, complete with royal and presidential suites, a ballroom, spa, and fine dining restaurant. Now, we have a better sense of exactly what Serrano has in mind...
BusinessOfFashion reports that the deal hasn't been finalized yet—so don't go bragging to your friends that you're off to stay at Giorgio's new palazzo in London...just yet. There is a rumored opening date of December 2015, which is, sadly, quite a while away, but we'd like to give them some time to really make the place shine. Good things come to those who wait!
Of course, both Armani and Serrano are categorically denying the rumors, but we think they're just playing coy. It's been almost 3 years now since Armani Dubai opened almost three years ago (followed by the Armani Milano in late 2011) , so the chances that Armani is getting ready to announce a third property are certainly high.
In the meantime, we can just distract ourselves with two other upcoming London hotels that have our eye, Shangri-La at the Shard and Edition London.
