As of now, however, here's what we know:
Similar to SLS South Beach (which, in case you forgot, won our Best Opening of 2012 award in December), the new Vegas property will feature previous SLS collaborators Philippe Starck and culinary director Jose Andres. Interesting to see how Starck will tackle such a big project (the hotel is set to have over 1,600 guest rooms) and still keep up his attention to detail and sense of the fantastic. How whimsical can a Vegas casino hotel really get, after all?
Additionally, there will be a 10,000 sq ft Fred Segal retail outlet, with seven Fred Segal-branded boutiques. Not to mention a nightclub called Shelter, and an outpost of the LA live music venue The Sayers Club.
