NYLO Hotel NYC
The new hotel's LOCL Bar is offering the 'Bubbles for a Cure' drink this month. Each glass of bubbly is $13 and $3 of that will go directly to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
To recreate the drink, mix Brooklyn gin, Aperol, Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur, lemon juice together and top with Brut champagne.
The Langham Place, Fifth Avenue
The hotel's Measure bar has created a tequila drink in honor of travel publicist, Emily Easter, who lost her battle with breast cancer at the end of September. The "Cheers to Emily" concoction includes blanco tequila, pink grapefruit liqueur, lemon and strawberry syrup. The drink is a sweet $16, with $1 of the sale going to The Pink Daisy Project.
Perhaps one of the most famous pink cocktails in the world, The Singapore Sling was created at the legendary Raffles Singapore at the turn of the century. Originally designed as a woman’s drink (hence the attractive pink color) today it is very definitely a drink enjoyed by all. This month, proceeds from each $21 Sling purchased goes to local breast cancer charities.
