The House of Mutt, located in Suffolk, England, begins its star treatment for their 10 four-legged guests by transporting them to the hotel in a personally-driven taxi (at the cost of £75 ($118) each way from London). The hotel is actually a seven-bedroom former rectory that doubles as the family home for business owner Sarah Mountford, her husband David (a Cambridge-qualified vet) and their three children.

Funny enough, no fancy food is served unless you request they stock up for you. They prefer you bring your own in order to keep up with the pooches accustomed diet. Makes sense. No kennels or cages are used, either. Instead, the pups’ sleeping quarters are in the form of handmade beds placed in front of a roaring wood-burning stove. Hmph. Now we're just green with envy.

We’re not sure if this is the place to bring problem dogs, as HOM seems to cater to the pedigree set, but there are grooming and training sessions available for older dogs who've forgotten their "manners".

In between walkies on the 10-acre grounds of Riddlesworth Hall Prep School (Lady Diana was a former student) the “guests” can play games in the paddock, have their portrait painted, or get fit for a custom-made collar.

Apparently the hotel is so nice and the pets come home so happy, Mountford says the demand has gone out the roof, and even owners ask if they can stay too!
