Former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger had a really good run in Dubai recently – including a 45-minute performance that netted her a million bucks – but promptly wiped out all that positive press last night in the heat of an LA nightclub. A photo emerged today that shows her and rapper Chris Brown getting awfully comfortable, and it kind of sort of looks like they’re kissing if you commit yourself to drawing inconclusive conclusions. Her reps are rabidly denying the report, suggesting it portrays a close conversation at a kicking club.

Press is press as they say, though, and it once again shines the spotlight on Scherzinger, who has made headlines of late for her reoccurring presence in Dubai. Last week she received $1 million to perform a short 45-minute set for Emirates NDB Bank at the Dubai World Trade Center, and back in August she made her home at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray for a few days as part of her role as a judge for X Factor UK. She and Grammy-winning R&B artist Ne-Yo held up in the Grand Imperial and one-bedroom suites, respectively, filming the Judges’ House scenes throughout the hotel property.

The X Factor episode filmed at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray will air tomorrow in the UK, and the hotel is celebrating its television appearance with the X Factor Royal Experience Package, aimed at giving you a taste of what it’s like to travel like a celebrity (so long as you can afford it, of course). An additional $735 over the best available rate will land you VIP airport pick up and drop off, 24-hour butler service, and “complimentary” dining experiences, limousine transfers, afternoon tea, and a private spa suite. The package also notes that it gives guests free access to Wild Wadi, and we must note this is a prime example of why one must really look into these offerings – you get that privilege when you stay at any Jumeirah property.

While Scherzinger returned home to let loose in the club, Ne-Yo felt like he needed to promptly bash the show, venting his frustration about the abundance of opportunity for today’s aspiring singers. At age 29, he apparently has already adopted the ever-annoying, jealousy-inspired “back in the day” spiel. Good work, man – I’m sure the show will get right on renewing your contract.

Rates for the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray start at $490/night.
