A new photography book depicting celebrities in various states of slumber at the Chateau Marmont will be released next month. According to a review on Artbook, Asleep At the Chateau will be the first illustrated book devoted to the iconic West Hollywood hotel, despite plenty of afterparty recaps, Lindsay Lohan-related gossip, and other tabloid stories published about the place on an almost weekly basis.

However, despite being one of the most publicized hotels in all of Los Angeles (and maybe even the world), the Chateau remains notoriously private, rarely allowing photographers inside the rooms. The fact that Jork Weismann was given an all-access pass, and managed to capture stars like Orlando Bloom, Justin Theroux, and Usher looking all cute and snuggly, only adds to the book's hype.

Well, that and the above photo of Eva Longoria's butt.

The brief Artbook review goes on to say:

"The book also pays homage to the fabled hotel by beautifully capturing its eccentric and bohemian rooms and interiors, giving you access to just about every one of those $600+ a night rooms, bungalows and cottages. Like Sam Taylor-Wood's Crying Men, this is an unusual celebrity portrait book, and like Aperture's successful Erwin Olaf monograph, it's highly stylized. "

One entertainment blog questioned whether the Chateau's most photographed—and now blacklisted—guest, Lindsay Lohan, would be included in the book. But from the reports we've seen, that would seem to be a no.

The coffeetable book will be released on October 31, and for those of us who aren't quite in a position to be dropping $600 a night, this might be the closest we get to glimpsing the inside of the hotel for a while.
