In the heart of San Francisco’s SoMa district , the 260-room St. Regis San Francisco is offering a Town & Country Package in partnership with Sonoma Valley’s Ram’s Gate Winery. Highlights of the $1,200 package include chauffeured luxury transportation to Ram’s Gate, a private tour and tasting for two with the winemaker plus seasonally paired dishes, an exclusive bottle to take home, AND accommodations in either the 711-square-foot Astor Suite or the 980 square-foot Metropolitan Suite plus daily breakfast. It ain’t cheap, we know, but the tradeoff comes with luxe treatment in both an SF hotel (with signature, had-me-at-hello butler service) and a Sonoma Valley winery.

North of the Bay in Sausalito, the boutique, 63-room Casa Madrona sits on a hillside that spills into placid Richardson Bay—the same place where your Seaplane Wine Tasting Adventure begins. Skip the traditional limo ride and take off on a seaplane from here before landing on Clear Lake in Sonoma Valley. You’ll taxi directly to Ceago Vinegardens Winery estate, where you’ll be escorted up the dock to the tasting room for an hour of wine tasting with complimentary cheeses and a private tour. Rates start at $1,700 per night and include 10% off accommodations in a Hillside Cottage.

At the base of the Santa Cruz Mountains in Los Gatos, Silicon Valley’s 115-room Toll House Hotel let’s you play cowboy in a beautiful mountain appellation with the Horseback and Wine Tasting Package. For $490 per night, oenophiles get a two-night stay and breakfast for two; add on $45 for an hour-long trail ride through Cooper-Garrod Vineyards and Mid Peninsula Open Space Preserves, with views of the Santa Clara Valley from thousand foot elevations. Afterward, sip on wine in the tasting room.
