Where to Meat Up for National Cheeseburger Day Tomorrow

National Cheeseburger Day is September 18th! We'll meat you wherever you wanna go!

Did you know that tomorrow is National Cheeseburger Day? Go figure! Sure, we know it�s a self-serving promotion by the Cattleman�s Beef Board, but we don�t care. With the weather starting to cool down a bit, why not celebrate this day by checking out hotel restaurant�s serving great burgers?

There are a few places that are actually having specials commemorating tomorrow�s holiday (that's right, we're giving it HOLIDAY status). Then there are restaurants we�ve pulled from our archives that we think have some magnificent hot meat on a platter and you should go for lunch or dinner tomorrow if you haven't made plans. And if you have? Cancel them! It's a HOLIDAY!

Conrad New York's restaurant Atrio will offer half-price cheeseburgers for $12. The "Blue Label" Burger used custom ground beef made especially for the hotel. The burger is grilled and topped with a Cabot Clothbound Cheddar and roasted onion mayo.

New Mexico's La Posada de Santa Fe�s Patio Restaurant has a new Northern New Mexican-inspired lunch and dinner menus, and for tomorrow, we think you should get on the Kobe Beef Burger "Santa Fe," which has Hatch green chile strips, cheddar cheese and Applewood smoked bacon on a corn-dusted roll ($14).

Both Hotel Zaza�s in Dallas and Houston will have a complimentary slider bar in the lobby from 5pm �7pm for guests!

We've paid mad respect to hotel restaurants with banging burgers.
A quick look at some menus and we think we'd go for:
*A classic burger with bacon and white cheddar at the Standard Downtown LA, which has gotten a bit fancy with their "bear burger" in the past.
*"The Stripper", a bunless 7ozer with avocado from BLT Burger at the Mirage in Las Vegas.
A Casterbridge cheeseburger with tomato salsa at InterContinental Park Lane's Arch Bar in London. We hope they've learned their lesson from years ago, and eliminated that 143-calorie "Skinny Burger", even though it is Fashion Week right now.

The Omni Royal Cresent Hotel in New Orleans has a restaurant focused on burgers called "Dress it." There you can get most anything on a burger.

I don't know how I forgot to mention this. One of my favorite places in the city. I always get the burger slider trio because it always changes and you never know what it's going to be so you can sample three burgers!
And my vegetarian friends can eat there, too. Which is a great bonus. The truffle parmesan fries are ridiculous.
