This is not so much a bar hop as a bar marathon that runs (get it?) the entire length of Canada. If you have the stamina, so do we.

We know what you’re thinking: What’s with the strange punctuation in ARC The.Hotel’s name? Well, we don’t know – but we do know that going to this hotel lounge is worth overlooking poor grammar.

On any given day, you can find a youngish professional crowd hanging out in the lounge, both locals and guests, enjoying the jazzy, dreamy soundtrack. What’s their cocktail of choice, you ask? It’s the ARCtini, the ARC Lounge’s version of a green apple martini.

ARC The.Hotel is designed in a warm, stylish, neutral palette and, in the lounge in particular, interspersed with shots of red. We’re not talking startling fire engine red—more of a gentle poppy red that still manages to make a strong statement.

Another winning drink is the ARC Caesar, which, if you’ve been tagging along with us on this grand Canadian bar hop, you'll recognize as a Canadian thing. Chef Jason Duffy’s version is a combination of chipotle, cilantro and lime-infused vodka, Worcestershire sauce, and Clamato juice. If we could, we'd insert a smiley face here.

The moment you check into ARC The.Hotel it seems like they are inviting you to join them for a drink. After all, they hand you a glass of sparkly wine when you arrive, just as if you’ve been invited into their home. So, why fight it?
