The La Posada Resort, known as the art hotel, displays the work of local artists throughout the property. With 155 casitas on 6 acres of lush gardens that's a lot of art in this former art sanctuary where the likes of Georgia O'Keefe and Will Shuster gathered in the 1940's and 50's.
It's also the only hotel in Santa Fe to have an onsite art curator, Sara Eyestone. She selects the hotel's "Gallery Collection" of more than 600 works from 44 accomplished, living American artists and offers art tours at the resort. HC has learned that all guests who stay at La Posada de Santa Fe through October 31st are entered to win $10,000 in artwork hand-selected from hotel’s collection.

Rates from $615 per night based upon double occupancy, not including taxes. The offer is valid only from September 27-29, 2012. A minimum three night stay is required. La Posada charges a resort fee of $30 per room per day and that's always a hot tamale subject for us but some great amenities are included such as morning lobby coffee and tea service, WiFi, wine tastings and daily events like Margarita Mondays where guests learn to make a killer drink, yoga classes and valet parking.
